All depends on whether or not a Russian fellow coming to the USofA on his maiden voyage can avoid the temptations of Vegas or not.
I don't know... the glitter... the girls... the gambling... in any event, the Vegas franchise should ultimately prove to be the polar opposite of Edmonton. |

Is he gonna wear 87 in the NHL too? In a black and gold jersey. Get ready for unwarranted and stupid hatred from idiots that are pens fans. |

There were only a few idiot Pens fans who were upset about what's-his-name wearing #66 for the Islanders... it seems most (non-idiots) are ok with it. |

I think the handful of crybabies had to kind of shut up when Ho Sang gave his quote about wearing that number. It couldn't have been much more perfect. |

A 2 Year Deal now can be labeled a franchise player? Sounds like a stretch in your terminology there... |

Very true. I just think it's funny that they think they can tell people what number to wear. Haven't they heard imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? haha |

I think it's a good signing. It's going to be tough to pry away a top 1/2C player from any franchise. Ship is most likely a better C than anyone they'll be able to select during the expansion and the only good centers available in free agency are Thornton and Hanzal and I don't see either of them wanting to sign in Vegas. Hopefully it works out for them.. really don't want to see Vegas become a garbage team like Arizona. |

People who sit behind keyboards all day in their mom's basements think they can tell everyone everything, LOL.
If they would get off their a** and maybe PAINT the basement for mom, the world would be a FAR better place. |

Vegas better stop signing KHL players so they can take Troy Brouwer from the Flames.

Reasonable guess, 15-20 goals, maybe 30 or 35 assists. Finishes the season with somewhere in the 45-60 point range and then goes back to the KHL because Vegas sucks nuts all year. |

The guy they should be going after is Nikita Gusev. Remember the kid playing in the WJC's and really liked what i saw. He's still relatively young at 24 years old and guy has serious talent. Could see him having a Panarin type impact.
Really hoping they can get something going with Gusev, although im not sure if the Lighting who drafted him still have his rights. |
